Stacy Allegro, ACSM, EMT, is the creator and founding director of Fit First Pilates Marin, and a nationally recognized Pilates master. A former martial arts champion, she applied over 20 years of experience and training in the fields of health and fitness to update and expand the original Pilates teachings and develop the Fit First system. Today Stacy runs ongoing training programs to certify fitness professionals in the Fit First Pilates method. She also lectures and teaches seminars about the benefits of Pilates at universities and health care facilities around the world.

Katrina Charmatz

Katrina Charmatz
Katrina has always had a personal interest in body conditioning and raising the consciousness by awakening the body, mind and soul thru movement & breath. Katrina’s diverse and eclectic fitness training background includes yoga, cycling, swimming, dance & equestrian arts. Since 1995, She has studied intensively with yoga teachers in the schools of Anasura, Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar and Ashtanga. Katrina has been a student of eastern philosophy at New York’s School of Practical Philosophy and Spirit Rock Meditation Center where the Upanishad, Buddhism and the Yoga Sutras were of particular interest. Katrina came to Pilates through the rehabilitation of a chronic condition and has maintained a pain-free lifestyle. She is a certified Pilates instructor thru Integrated Teacher Training San Francisco with Madeline Black. Ms. Charmatz continues to explore rehabilitation thru anatomical studies, kinesiology, mobility and stability applications as well as attending on-going Pilates Master trainings and seminars

Sophie Pouteau

Sophie Pouteau
has been practicing Pilates since 1996. Through Pilates, she discovered the perfect blend of core strength and flexibility that was lacking in other fitness programs she practiced. Under the guidance of Stacy Allegro, Sophie completed her full mat and equipment training to become a fully certified Pilates Instructor in 2009. Her positive energy is what motivates her challenging style. Her repertoire includes Rehabilitation Pilates plus traditional exercises on mat and equipment She continues her professional development in the Pilates method through training, seminars and research. Her classes offer challenging workouts for all levels of fitness. She has a reputation for working her clients to their greatest potential....in other words...kicking butt!!!!

Ashley Vollmar

Ashley Vollmar
is a native from Ohio and has been practicing Pilates since 2004. She became interested in Pilates after her careers in competitive softball and volleyball came to an end. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology specializing in Exercise Physiology from Miami University. As a life-long athlete and competitive personality, she became interested in pursuing performance enhancement techniques and the science of bodily movement. “I became a Pilates teacher because it helps me to maintain body awareness, and mental stimulation while rounding out my whole wellbeing. I am now interested in sharing my love of Pilates with people who are looking for a lifelong journey of learning while enhancing their own lives and well being.” She is currently in the final process of receiving her certification from master instructors with Body Arts and Science International (BASI). She has become a popular edition at Fit First Pilates with a reputation for helping her clients become all they can be and more!
